---LOL

Spielberg, Hanks, Cameron ---ALLLLL of Hollywood, while dishing
up yet another batch of anachronistic, self-serving, guilt-0trippy
ad nauseum WWII retreads ---once again TOTALLY 'overlook' the epic and STILL unfolding KOREAN WAR on this ---its 60th Anniversary.

And of course, as usual, selling out and sucking up to the MOST
awesomely genocidal regime history has EVER seen ---ACROSS the
Pacific!

70 million exterminated ---in 'peaceteime' in the name of
'social justice and progress'. FACT

When someone ---SOMEONE! -begins to lay out the gargantuan implications of all this it will be ----TOOOOO FUNNY!

I am looking for (the title of) a television miniseries, shown around 1988 (+/-) about two men who become army generals during/at the end of WWII in the pacific. The film begins in WWI, where one of the men receives a battlefield commission (major) but upon return to the states, is a lieutenant. Something about the other guy - I think he becomes impotent. I thought the film/miniseries featured Sam Elliott but no results in his career. Can you help?

Thanx.
