Veterans’ Day TV Movies
Well, Veterans’ Day is right around the corner, and the movie channels are pulling out the stops with great schedules again… click on thru for more.
TNT Will be showing Saving Private Ryan on Sunday Night, Nov. 9, at 8PM EST with limited commercials, and again at 11PM EST. TNT does this film justice by *not* editing it, at least in any major way. Glad to see they’re doing it this year. Preceding it at 2:30PM EST is We Were Soldiers, which is likely edited for content. G.I. Jane follows the late Private Ryan showing…. (It’s too bad TNT is but a shadow of its former self… the “Law and Order” channel I called it before I ditched satellite altogether!)
