I was informed of an upcoming movie from Paramount/Dreamworks... Stop-Loss.  Looks like it might be good.  Of course one of the sh*ttier policies of today's military is that once you're finished with your tour, guess what? You're not.  Hence "Stop-Loss."

I'm not sure of any other details, but it's starring Flags of Our Fathers' Ryan Phillippe, and a few other names I'm unfamiliar with....  Worth a look.

    Don’t trust any movie about the U.S. military coming out of Hollywood right now. In their hatred for Bush they think that if they show U.S. soldiers in a good light some how they are supporting Bush. I for one am a Republican who thinks that Bush is the worst president since Carter, but I still want to see movies that portray soldiers as the heroes that they really are.

    I gotta agree with you on that point. I’ll reserve final judgement until more details emerge, but I think the premise might hold a little bit of hope. At least I hope it does!
