I am total in agreement that the "Longest Day" is the the best & favourite movie from my childhood. I have watched it countless of times and it remains so "real, realistic and the black and white cinemagraphy " truly depicts the moments at war.

I am 45 years old.....& this movie will forever be entrenched as the defining war movie for me.
